In Greek mythology, Alcyone or Alkyone (; Ancient Greek: Ἁλκυόνη, Halkyónē derived from alkyon αλκυων "kingfisher) was the daughter of Aeolus, either by Enarete or Aegiale. She married Ceyx, son of Eosphorus the Morning Star.
