Uma estrela de classe F da sequência principal (estrela F V) é uma estrela da sequência principal (classe de luminosidade V) da classe espectral F. Essas estrelas têm entre 1,0 e 1,4 vezes a massa solar e temperaturas efetivas entre 6 000 e 7 600 K. Essa faixa de temperatura dá às estrelas de classe F uma coloração branco-amarela. Como uma estrela da sequência principal é informalmente chamada de anã, uma estrela deste tipo pode também ser chamada de anã branco-amarela. Exemplos famosos incluem Procyon A e Gamma Virginis A e B.
